This Thermometer (“Product”), excluding the battery, is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser under normal household use. If the Product does not work properly because of defects in material or workmanship during the life of the original purchaser, Samsung C&T America will, at its option, repair or replace the Product with the same or a comparable model. Purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase is required before warranty performance. This warranty only extends to the original retail purchaser, and does not apply to any clinical or commercial applications. This warranty is void if the Product’s label, logo, housing or serial number have been removed, or if the Product fails to function properly as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, defective batteries, or failure to follow the Product’s written instructions.
This warranty and remedy provided herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other express and implied warranties, and there are no warranties which extend beyond the description herein. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR NOR THEIR AFFILIATES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, INJURY, OR DAMAGE INCLUDING DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE LIMITED TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives your specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

This warranty applies only to products purchased in the U.S. For products purchased in, but used outside, the U.S., this warranty covers only warranty services within the U.S. (and does not include shipping outside the U.S.).
